Cervantite is a rare mineral consisting of lead oxide and antimony. While there are no commonly recognized synonyms for this mineral, it is sometimes referred to as antimonian galena, due to its similar appearance to galena, another lead mineral. Additionally, it is sometimes called stibial lead, due to the presence of antimony. Cervantite is also sometimes referred to as panchymite, due to its discovery in the Panchimalco municipality of El Salvador. However, this name is not widely used in the scientific community.
